Service missing in action

A techy was supposed to hook up NBN this morning. 8-12 plan. Stayed home to make sure all ok.

12.30 call to see what happened. Told to wait an hour. 3.30 pm call again.

Told eventually that the techy had come and found a problem, back in two weeks to connect ! No msg, to call, NOTHING !

Called again as was not happy. Another girl in the Phil's tells me the honest truth ( she said ) There never was any appointment. Assume now they have a directive to say whatever it takes to get us off the phone.

How do they stay in business !

That does sound like a rather, well, dumbfounding experience. 😑
