I use a telephony app for work and cant get it to work using my NBN wifi connection at home
I cant make or receive calls using the app while connected to the modem / NBN optus wifi
However when i switch to my 4G mobile broadband it works fine
Can you tell me how to enable SIP through my optus home broadband service please

The Optus supplied NBN routers intercept and uses the standard 5060-5061 SIP ports for the Optus VoIP service.
If you are using Optus NBN VoiP service then your VoIP app device will need to be given a static IP address and have ports forwarded to it.
If you are not using Optus NBN VoIP your might be able to do above for the standard 5060-5061 ports, although I don't know it that's enough for the Optus router to relinquish VoIP control on standard ports.
Ask your IT people at work, after all, you are using the VoIP app for work.
