Poor service and hardware

Have barely been with Optus NBN a few months and am starting to regret it big time.

Since day one, this f@st modem constantly disconnects devices on the wifi network causing us to constantly reset it or just run on our mobile plans to maintain some sort of constant connectivity.

I’ve come home today to no internet, and have politely been informed I’m looking at waiting until Monday for any sort of solution - when I objected and voiced my disatisfaction (I was not at any point rude and I do after all have guest coming over for some sports) the call was ended (put down on me) and I was sent a text with my NBN ref number.

 

Now seeing as Optus call centres are happy to end the call when my inconvenience becomes theirs, I find myself here in the hope that someone from Optus may actually take some time to find a solution to my number 1 issue - no internet, and secondly the fact that this modem / router is not up to the task.

Alternatively, you could possibly release me from this contract as I don’t believe this service is worth the hassle.

I was just commenting on another post about the poor wireless performance on the Sagecom modems and you might be best to have a read.

If an Optus staff member was rude then I would make an official complaint and you can do that on the link below. I would also mention that you are that peeved with the service that you want to exit.
