Feb 19th I migrated to NBN which was the worst mistake I have ever made.
I had no internet or home phone until approximately 9/11th April.
Took Optus that long to fix things.
On 7th May voicemail was enabled on my landline without my permission & I could not receive or make calls.
I got Optus to remove it & I still cannot make or receive calls on my landline.
I reported the problem & now I have to wait they are looking into it.
At least I have internet.
So be into see how long Optus take this time to fix my landline.
I won’t hold my breath.
Your expected to pay your phone bill for a service your not getting.

This is all related to porting the number off the Telstra copper network to the Optus IP network.
I have tagged one of the YC guys who has been collating examples of this problem. @Ray_YC
