For 24/7 support message our team of experts via the My Optus app.
OPTUS has been a total nightmare so far... it all started after they forced us to switch to NBN. For months now we have internet dropouts every single day, or no internet at all for hour on end. Been talking with them in char and on the phone, on my 4th modem now still same problem... have had multiple technician blaming eachother that it was the modem or the nbn line. So sick of their service, they dont fix it. I want to get out of it ASAP. But was wondering what can i do with the bills i have payed, obviously they didnt keep their part of the contract of providing me with internet. Plus i refuse to pay a cancellation fee, who do i go to for this mess? Thank you
What type of internet do you have (FTTP, HFC, FTTN?)
What speed tier are you on?

FTTN and NBN100 :/.
Have Optus told you the top rated line speed you can get? Have you got over 80Mbps on some occassions?
I'd cut your losses and request to exit the contract, which they should do without much issue.
Ask for compensation but if you are getting some internet it gets grey.
Good Luck.
