No internet connection

My modem stopped connecting to the internet, after troubleshooting and going through technical assist, they decided I needed a new modem - received new modem, connected still no internet...any suggestions? New modem optus sagemcom fast 5366 tn

What NBN Technology do you have?
Do you also have a small NBN provided modem?

I'm not that tech savy, got new modem plugged in - my devices are seeing it as I entered new password but says no internet connected, done restarts, re sets - don't know what else to do, its almost as if something is blocking it... I spent 2 hours on tech assist last Sunday for them to tell me my modem wasn't working anymore and the sent the optus sagemcom fast 5366 tn

We need to know the tech type. Check your technology type here:

https://www.nbnco.com.au/connect-home-or-business/check-your-address

You will be FTTN, HFC, FTTP or FTTC.

Are you using just a single modem that Optus sent you or do you also have a little modem box between the Optus modem and the wall plate?

Hi just the modem supplied to me by Optus, plugged to wall socket and power - its how all my modems have ever worked I don't run cables to computers etc.

In a previous reply Peter posted a linked to check the technology of your NBN connection. Click on the link fill in the details please and then reply back with the type of NBN connection (technology) the page tells you. The answer you supply will help with trouble shooting.

thanks for your help, have got home and its working...it appears this is my connection type nbn™ FTTN connection, still have no idea what it means, but its working.  Maybe it needed to sync/update itself
