Netgear D7000

Hi I'm deciding to get a Netgear D7000 and have been on NBN basic plan for about 2 weeks. Im wondering do I still need to use my optus modem they provided me if I get the netgear d7000 modem, and how I should plug the landline phone to the netgear D7000 modem.

Re: Netgear D7000

If you require a landline (VOIP), then you must use the Optus modem; Optus don't provide VOIP details. The D7000 does not have a VOIP port. If you want better wifi than the Optus modem provides, investigate wireless access point(s); turn off Sagem wireless and use the AP's wireless.
