NBN ready area but website shows address is not serviceable with Optus

I have NBN at the my home with other ISP, but want to switch to Optus. However, the website says NO NBN in my place. NBN website also shows my address is servicable. I have tried web chat, call etc...

Can someone help me get my address updated in Optus database??

Re: NBN ready area but website shows address is not serviceable with Optus

The NBN database is Optus' database. Optus don't have to service an area with NBN if they don't want so they've potentially chosen to just not service your area unfortunately.

Speaking with a rep is your best bet but given you've said you've tried both calling and chat, I'd say it's not looking great

What street / postcode?

I assume you had access to Optus Cable?

In areas where both Optus and Telstra cable are available, NBNCo recently announced all Telstra homes will go live immeadiately. Optus customers will need to wait 1-9 months for the NBNCo team to come through and lay the conduit from the Telstra cable into your house.
