Hoping someone can help (hoping an optus moderator sees this and can help).
I've had NBN with optus for a couple of years, I have umlimited with the top speed pack on and have had no problems. Over the last 4-6 weeks my speeds have really vaired from 1mb upto 30-40mb with constant drop outs.
I have called and spoken to the call centre a number of times which have been, to say helpful would be a stretch. I've been told to restart the modem which I do multiple times a day anyway. I have even hard reset the modem.

Other than rebooting your modem, were you given any other sort of idea of what might be causing the issue i.e. network capacity/congestion?
