I have signed up on an $80 plan for NBN home phone bundle
My first month bill was $175.96
My next month bill is $97.17
What does your bill say? There should be a number of line items explaining the breakdown.
FWIW Optus usually charge first and last months bill upfront. The rest may be credits not being applied to your account for various options in the plan. Should show on the bill - you can access it as a PDF on MYACCOUNT)

I don't understand the second bill.
there are 2 line items
1. My home phone on $80 plan - charge $72.72
2. Broadband on $80 plan - charge $13.62
There appears to be a charge here for Yes TV which I am not using, but regardless
the whole package I signed up for was $80
so the bill should be
$2 for being non direct debit
Scroll down a bit in the bill. Optus usually list all charges (like for the Fetch box) and then apply a credit further down.
I assume this is a brand new plan and not an upgrade from another plan?
PS Optus bills are listed without GST until the end. So your bill should look (roughly) something like
Broadband Plan -$72
Fetch TV Monthly -$13
Direct Debit -$1.92
Entertainment Credit $13
+ GST $8.08
The bill is as follows
Non Direct Debit fee $2 (ex GST)
Optus phone on $80 plan $72.72 (ex GST)
Broadband on $80 plan $13.62 (ex GST)
breakdown as follows: Oputs sport 1 x $13.63 ($13.63 credited back)
YesTV Connect STB x 2 @ $13.63 (1 x $13.63 credited back)
I do not understand why my total bundle does not come in at $80 + $2 + GST

from above, yes tv x 2 but only credit 1. Are you subscribed to extra packs? Best to get each line of your invoice clarify on live chat.
