Seems to be a common thread with delays in NBN activation. I've previously had NBN with another ISP but signed up with Optus a couple of weeks ago. I was told that NBN would be activated yesterday, Oct 27, but rang this morning and told it would now be Monday morning. My old service has now been disconnected, and I'm now worried that we won't have internet or a home phone for a lengthy period, based on other posts. I've now been in contact by phone and web chat to Optus support and get told something different every time. Very poor customer service from Optus. I can only hope the experience gets better.
