Phone light on modem now working, and we can use phone to dial out, but it shows as private number.
And when someone trys to call our home phone, they get auto message saying phone number is disconnected.
Case Management supposed to call again tomorrow, hope they can sort it.
I can see Case Management tried to call twice last night to mobile number ending in 321 with another scheduled for this morning.
I have the same problem.after switching ti nbn hcf,my phone line never come back.still disconnected after 5 days.optus team wants to send me a new modem as the phone light on the modem is not green.but i am not sure this will fix the problem.they confirmed that my line is provisioned.i am still waiting for new modem to arrive after 4 days.
We are a medical center and phone line is very vital for our patients to get in touch.very frustrated.

As per the others in this thread, do you have a ticket number I can follow up on for you?
From what you described they've determined the modem is the issue, hopefully it has arrived by now?
Although this got fixed before, it has now happened again. No phone light on modem and no dial tone for phone.
Can you chase up using the old case number 21335412
The old ticket would be closed, you would need to contact Optus to log a new one.
Once you have one and if it's not resolved in a few days feel free once again to let me know what it is.
