In case you have the upright F@ST3864V3 AC or a V3 HP, it is easy to inadvertently turn off Wi-Fi when repositioning the modem. The Wi-Fi control button is located on the rear left hand section and easy to unknowingly depress to OFF. Check that - sometimes it takes a while for the green LED to come on.
