Messages from Optus re Static IP Allocated.

I am receiving emails from Optus advising a new Static IP address has been allocated. Each message has a different IP address. I have not initiated any requests. I am on NBN FTTN? Are these messages legitimate?

Hey there @WoyBoy. It's not great to hear that you are receiving these messages in regards to your static IP. If possible, I would recommend reaching out and sending screenshots of the messages you received to our teams on Facebook or Twitter, as they will be able to help out in confirming if whether they are legitimate or not.

Thanks for your offer to assist. I am reluctant to use facebook or twitter. When I rebooted the modem / router the issue was resolved.
