Incorrect IP Location

Hi,

Over the last few weeks my home NBN IP address has been showing my location as being in a different state, i am located in Perth WA however when i do a speed test or do a location check it shows me as being in Adelaide SA.

I have also noticed that when my children play online games it gives our location as being somewhere in NSW so even further away. They have been complaining about a change in gaming experience with continual games freezes and lag issues since the location has changed, i have done numerous speed tests and it always defaults to a server generally in Adelaide, the download speeds are similar but the Ping levels are over 4 x worse than if i manually connect to a Perth based Server, i assume this is causing the gaming issues.

I have tried rebooting the modem but it doesn't change anything.

Can someone assist in changing my location back to Perth WA please?
