WAN access is set on VDSL & "My Internet Connection" is set on Dynamic IP, after factory reset, power up, but still same, DSL Led flashes while router trys to attain signal, but then off.....Dlink "tech" then gave up and said ring Optus !!

I have a DSL signal to the shite SAGECOM modem so any advice appreciated,

Re: Help needed, no solid DSL Led on Dlink DSL 2888A modem router

It sounds like you aren't using the right settings for your D-Link device, you need to make sure you set it correctly for VDSL2(FTTN) with NBNCo.

Standard: VDSL2

Profile: 17a (Multi-Mode)

Given you have put the old modem back and it's working just fine, this says its either a faulty device or a configuration issue.

hi Jen,

in the Dlink config the ADSL2+ & VDSL are enabled, as is the 17A;

in your first comment you imply I need to contact NBNCo for VDSL settings, is that correct?

thx
