Hi I’ve just got the vr2100 and not connecting. I have gone through this thread trying to resolve it.
I set up as
it’s asks about vpi and CPI I set as vpi 8 and CPI 35 as the web interface default to that somehow Optus wouldn’t give me an answer
what am I missing?

Generally speaking, if NBN is connected to this, you'd need to use the password and username that's been provided with the modem.

I tried the username and password method as well. Same result, no connection 😭

Then tries to connect then tells me to check if my phone line is properly connected. It’s plugged from the wall then into the DHL socket. All attempts are blaming the phone connection. It’s fine on the Optus modem so I don’t know what the tplink is crying about 🤷🏼♂️
So basically if it’s telling me to check my phone line every time, could that be a hardware issue as it’s not able to attempt any configuration settings? Should I return it? I even swapped a new phone cable supplied in the modem box 🤷🏼♂️
