DM200 NBN Connection

Greetings.

I am in the throws of trying to change my modem from the supplied Sagemcom to a Netgear DM200, with the intention of running it in bridge mode and hook it up to a Nighthawk R8500 WiFi Router. But unfortunately I’m having trouble right from the start. I have FTTP, and it seems the UNI-V sockets are not active, or supported. Ethernet from the UNI-D1 port to the Sagemcom works fine, but when I try and use the RJ11 cable supplied with the Netgear DM200 in the UNI-D1 port, nothing works, no activity lights whatsoever. From what I have read so far, I am under the assumption that the RJ11 should work in the RJ45 sockets without issue. Seems this is not the case though....

Can anyone shed any light on this for me? By all means ask me for info, but I’m no guru on this.

Would appreciate any help.

Cheers.
