No, I've called but couldn't wait the time hanging on, knowing that the response [after reading posts on here] is disappointing, our cable was perfect for 2 or more decades and this NBN stuff has been atrocious since installation, AND I'm using up my data allowance on our IPads & Iphones, and paying $10 a Gb because this piece of electronic plastic and/or it's installation is from the dark ages...

Okay, just in case you weren't aware there are other methods to contact Optus aside from over the phone.

 

You can leave a message or contact Optus via Social Media.

 

I'm afraid we don't have visibility of or access to customer accounts here on our public forum.

I don't understand how these are useful replies. You have a link that says 'answer my question' and it just takes the reader back to more pre-canned answers that DON'T answer the question. What do I do it my internet keeps dropping out in the middle of important client calls? This is impacting my business, and I've now spent an hour or more trying to even find a way to get an answer - including putting the details into the Optus App, where a chat bot kept just checking my area and telling me all was fine, and then trying to find out how to get help online. Aargh.

Please let us know what troubleshooting have you done GREGJOFFE? Please try these broadband troubleshooting steps.

What suburb/postcode are you located in? Have you checked for any known outages? Enter your location and tick the Fixed outages box to have a look if that’s the issue.

If it's a business account, please chat with a Business Specialist.
