I’ve talked to Optus tech regarding this. They told me that I could use the Netgear modem by connecting it via Ethernet to any of the ports in the supplied Sagem device. It doesn’t work. My iPad recognises the Netgear and connects, there is a wifi icon showing but nothing loads.
I would like to use the Netgear as it is NBN ready and has a range extender which I need.
Anyone have a fix?

No dont need to use it at all thta just how the tech said to connect it.
do you know if it will connect automaticallyor will i need to use Netgear Genie to reconfigure from adsl+ to nbn fw?
