Closed and suspended broadband charges

Hi All,

I recently had my broadband service closed/suspended (due to relocation). Does anyone know if there are charges resulting from this? In other words, does closing mean cancelling, which would entail paying the charges for early termination of my 24 month contract? I am currently mid-way through the 24 month period.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Closed and suspended broadband charges

Generally you are still up for the original contract if you move. Usually Optus just port it to the new location as best they can.

Presumably you'd now be given a cancellation fee on the contract if its been shut down.
