Can HFC support both NBN and Foxtel?

I've had the NBN (over HFC) for a few months and I have to restart my modem (black box) and router (white box) up to 10 times a day.

Do you think that the single HFC cable (with the splitter on it) is not able to deliver both NBN and Foxtel on the same cable? Do I need to run another cable from the junction box at my front door, or indeed from some type of pit outside my front gate?

Any suggestions?

Re: Can HFC support both NBN and Foxtel?

Foxtel has provided internet and TV over HFC for decades now.

So your issue isn't Foxtel. If you'd like to test it unplug your Foxtel box for a day and do everything else as usual.

I suspect you'll still be reseting your modem every few hours.
