For 24/7 support message our team of experts via the My Optus app.
Anyone else experience performance issues with speeds in the Wentworthville area. I'm getting approximately 100Mbps down though only 5Mbps up. Service was activated about 2 weeks ago then uplifted to the 100/40 plan.
Admittedly the NBN is offered through my Foxtel cable.
Been trying to get support to rectify though not having much luck.
Solved! Solved: Go to Solution.
Nothing to do with Foxtel.
Something to report to your RSP (Optus) and they might test the line and get NBN to come out and check.
FWIW 5Mbps is about 3 times faster upload than any residential plan has ever had before. Unless you're sending a lot of data to dropbox, googledrive, etc. then 5 or 40 won't make any difference to your online experience.
Not outages or issues reported in your area though.

Interesting enough if I plug my PC directly into the NBN box, I get approx 37Mbps which is what I expect. Then go back to the original configuration of NBN Box->Optus Sagecom Router->PC back down to under 5 Mbps.
That does seem telling.
Try disabling wifi on the sagecom and testing speeds.
Otherwise I would request a replacement box from Optus.

Did a full hard reset of the router and now getting 38Mbps.
So all good now!
Cheers
