my optus app not working

I am about to move from Optus cable to Optus nbn and was told I need to log into My Optus App to get instructions on how to set up my modem.

I tried downloading and registering but it will not let me register my Optus internet account.

Any ideas?

Hey @mpaneth have you ever logged into your online service before? If not, your username may need some resetting up. We would be more than happy to assist with this.

I would also having a look at our Modem Guides which will provide you with some more information on the devices.

That information is incorrect.

You will need to use the modem that Optus send you and just follow the instructions on the included leaflet.
