There's a few ways you can request an extension for your bill.
If the amount is not currently overdue, you can apply for an extension either via your My Account, or by using the My Optus App. We do have some further information on our "How to Request more time to pay your bill" page.
If the balance is currently overdue, you will need to speak directly with our Financial Services team who can assist with looking into a payment extension. They can be contacted via the My Optus App or on 1300 308 839. They're available Mon - Fri: 8:30am - 7:30pm (AEST) and Sat: 9am - 6pm (AEST).
