'Technical Difficulties' when activating new sim.

Can someone from optus tell me what that means? Trying to activate a SIM and i'm getting a message saying there is a technical difficulty. Tried to activate on my iPhone and online. So annoying man. It's a simple thing.

Could possible be the SIM card. Have you have success since posting?
