Optus not closing my Account

I cant get hold of someone in optus to close my Internet Services with Optus.

After waiting several minutes, people just disconnect after asking the question "May i know the reason for disconnection?"

The 24x7 Message is a huge scam. They advise to input as much information and they will do the best. After entering complete details and waited for hours, when i am distracted, they send a simple "hi there" and disconnect after waiting for 10 mins. 

They are really working on a agenda, to harass people who are trying to close the account.

Just try be straight forward and brief. Polite obviously but just request the account be closed and know you don't wish to discus it further.

Having said that they will recredit any fees paid to the time to stopped using the service (they can tell no data was used) and you requested it be stopped.

You can also put this in a letter and send it in officially too.
