Optus Webmail dead?

I am assuming the optus webmail is on it's deathbed, and will not recover. My question is, how can I get all my emails out from it?

I use Mozilla Thunderbird, but apparently the optus webmail app doesn't support imap features like folders. As a result, I can't retrieve emails in webmail folders, only the inbox, which of course smtp can do anyway.

Any ideas?

Good news. Chrome is coping better. But man, this is a long slow process. 10 minutes to display 200 lines.
