I hope that everyone is remaining healthy & staying safe.
Well, after many, many months of frustration, trying my best to log in to my Member's Services page,
I finally found out why I & many others were experiencing the same error.
A very nice lady I spoke to in Customer Service told me that that page/site no longer functions & has been disabled/killed & removed from service.
Apparently...You have to do all your navigating from your My Accounts page.
I asked why OPTUS had not sent or posted a notification to anyone, nay, everyone, about this but she could not answer that, as apparently OPTUS had not passed the info on to them.
It would have been so easy if OPTUS had just posted a simple message at the top of everyone's My Accounts page, stating the fact of the demise of the Member's Services page.
This info may be correct but if not, why are so many of OPTUS' valuable customers having so much trouble
with their Member's Services log in?
Can a moderator make this a "Sticky" & possibly post the info on all the fora?
Might make your jobs a tad easier. 🙂
Thanks for reading & I hope it helps those that are still experiencing the problem.
(Geez!... OPTUS.... A little feedback goes a long way.)
Solved! Solved: Go to Solution.
Many thanks, Paddylee.
It still does not explain why OPTUS did not inform everyone about the changes.
Not everyone goes to or checks the cnet.com page. Why would they?
It's up to OPTUS to inform their customers directly & save all the hassles it caused.
I asked the nice lady to pass on the info & possibly remove any dead links to that site from the My Accounts, drop down menu.
Thanks again, Paddylee.
Hopefully, "others" will read this & know the reason/s why.
Hi again, Paddylee.
Thanks for that info.
Strange thing though...
From that page there's this gem...
"If you need self service sites like My Account, Webmail, Prepaid Recharge, MEMBER SERVICES or Mobile Self Care, you’ll now find them all at optus.com.au."
Pity that "they" overlooked the MEMBER SERVICES item.
Clicking that "MS" link brings exactly the same error message when trying to log in.
No need to reply, as the problem has been solved & so noted.
