Manual Registration not working

I am trying to manually register an Optus Account, but it's not letting me.

 

I click "No Optus login? Register Now"
I put in my email and date of birth.
I click "Next"
and it takes me to a login screen, asking for an email and password. I have not been asked to create a password yet.

 

What gives?

Do you mean register for My Account?


Have you had an active service for longer than 48 hours?

This is still not working !!! And the online Chat staff are unable to help. And 133937 staff are not answering.

Online My Account Registration not working

I am trying to manually register for an online My Account, but it's not letting me.

On the Manual rego screen, I enter an email address & date of birth. When I hit Next, it takes me to the Log In screen. 

I try to input a password, or say forgot password, but it tells me I have to register first.

So I click "No Optus login? Register Now"
I put in my email and date of birth.
I click "Next"
and it takes me back to a login screen, asking for an email and password. I have not been asked to create a password yet.   

ANd round & round we go.

This has been happening for several weeks.

The online chat staff cannot help, & the 133937 staff are not answering.

I'm having the same trouble. I can only message Optus using the app, which I can't do until I'm registered with My Account, and the My Account registration puts me in the same loop. I'm following the 'PM to Optus on Facebook' route. I'd like to know if that worked for Callfam. The ticked reply above was not a solution.
