I am trying to manually register an Optus Account, but it's not letting me.
I click "No Optus login? Register Now"
I put in my email and date of birth.
I click "Next"
and it takes me to a login screen, asking for an email and password. I have not been asked to create a password yet.
What gives?

I am trying to manually register for an online My Account, but it's not letting me.
On the Manual rego screen, I enter an email address & date of birth. When I hit Next, it takes me to the Log In screen.
I try to input a password, or say forgot password, but it tells me I have to register first.
So I click "No Optus login? Register Now"

and it takes me back to a login screen, asking for an email and password. I have not been asked to create a password yet.
ANd round & round we go.
This has been happening for several weeks.
The online chat staff cannot help, & the 133937 staff are not answering.
