As the title says - I need to cancel my mobile broadband. There appears to be no way to do this online and, obviously, it is now pretty near impossible to speak to a human either by phone or chat. Am I missing something??
When available, please leave Optus a message for further assistance and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks for taking the time to answer - it is currently impossible to leave a message, or do this online, or do it over the phone, which just hangs up when you get to "press 1 if you want to cancel your service"! They are taking $60 a month for a service I don't need and just want to stop.
I am in the same boat, have purchased a new mobile contract for hotspot because mobile broadband service does not work properly and cant cancel old service. If I could somehow leave a message about this I would but can find nowhere that I can because it is not a critical issue. Cant afford to be paying for two services.
Since my original response our Messenger team has been inundated with messages.
We're unable to assist here on this public forum as we don't have access to customer accounts.
Please contact Optus directly on 133 937 during business hours and holding the line (don't press 1 to be sent the link for the Message team) and follow the prompts from there to get through to a team member.
