Extraordinary costs

Since July I've seen huge costs to my prepaid plan. I only use the mobile for emergencies and checking in to shops. Can you help?

Re: Extraordinary costs

Hi there @Annasmobile52. Thanks for posting on Yes Crowd.

If you're noticing your prepaid credit being used up more quickly than usual, we recommend using the available tools we have to monitor and control your usage.

These options are 24/7 and are free to use in Australia:

If you're still needing further assistance on how you credit is being used, we recommend reaching out to our 24x7 Messaging Team via the My Optus App and they'll be able to take a closer look into it for  you.

If you're unable to get in touch through there, please send us a PM on our official Optus Facebook or Twitter page and the team will also be able to help out there.

Re: Extraordinary costs

You understand that prepaid means that you only pay what you agree to pay. Are you saying that the base price of a prepaid plan has increased? Or are you somehow paying more than what you "prepaid"?

If you only need to make calls and use a small bit of data then you should only be paying around $10 a month max. What are you paying?
