$49plan

Why do you advise me to switch to a more expensive plan when our present plan seems to do all that we need?

Re: $49plan

Unless its a lease plan you dont have to move (Unless Optus is closing down your old plan then they have to give you 1 months notice).

@Doodle  If you wish to purchase new hardware from Optus you have to change plans.

I am an Optus user.

Re: $49plan

I don't wish to buy hardware from Optus(was suggested in an answer). I just wondered why I was offered a more expensive plan while my present plan worked satisfactorily.

Re: $49plan

Hi @Doodle, how were you offered this plan? I mean did someone from Optus sales contact  you or was this an sms. Customers always have an option to not accept the offer. If you need to confirm you are best to speak with our support team either via the → messaging service or by calling them on  133937 - Mon - Fri: 8am - 8pm Sat: 9am - 5pm AEST to assist you further.

You did not answer my question. The plan was offered in an SMS.
