sim activation

i have activated a sim and received the confirmation message, yet the sim is not connecting, phone number is not ringing and is not registering on the phone, how do i fix this?

Hey atekay,

If you're still having trouble, try restarting your phone and check that the SIM is inserted correctly.

If that doesn't work, please contact Optus directly to find out what's happening.
