replacement sim for pre paid mobile

my sim card is damaged and I have purchased a new $2 sim as the replacement sin card, 

 I am trying to activate it online by clicking the replacement sim option, I get up to the part where optus wants to send me a code to enter - I cant receive the code number as I can use the damaged sim in my phone, I cant use the phone via wifi, and there is no other option to select except going in store with 100 points of id, - I cant do that at the moment, I have the number of the damaged sim, just cant use the old damaged sim to receive the code and continue activating the replacement sim

what else can I do??

Please contact Optus directly on 133 937 during business hours and holding the line (don't press 1 to be sent the link for the Message team) to get through to a team member.

or if you have a social media account, please send a PM to Optus on Facebook or a DM on Twitter with the details mentioning you have no service and the team will reply as soon as possible.
