I am an international student, I will graduate in October and leave Australia, so I will not use this number again in the future. My postpaid contract will end on 18/10/2019. What do I need to do to make sure there are no more fees after the contract ends? Do I need to cancel my account, or just to wait for the contract ends?

You must notify Optus you want to close the account on a set date. If you don't Optus will keep charging you on a month to month basis. Easy to do. Just live chat or use the Optus app or call on the phone to the free Optus international support number
