phone not unlocking

I have oppo a73 phone that is tied to Optus. I got a network unlock code and entered the code after dialling *#789#. The code was accepted and the device rebooted. When I insert any other sim card, the outgoing and incoming calls do not work. The internet works on the phone. Please suggest what should I do to have this fixed.

You may need to check the APN settings correspond with the other provider or manually change the network via the network settings.

Have had numerous posts about this.
The device Supplied from Optus does not have 3g 850Mhz support therefore will not work on Telstra or its resellers for voice calls only 4g data.

APN setting look correct. I have compared those with the one in the phone where the sim is working. I am not sure if the phone is really unlocked. Is there a way to check if the phone is unlocked.

APNs dont determine 3g voice calling which is your issue.

Hi pawinder, as you mentioned the phone accepted the network unlock code you entered so it is unlocked. Your issue appears to be what Paddlylee has advised, you can google 3G 850Mhz and the top results explain further.
