My iPhone X was listed on Track My Order today as having been sent to the warehouse for packaging. And then 2 hours later was listed as being ready and telling me I could plug my SIM card into my new phone. Then it was recorded as active.
Problem is that I have not received my phone.
So I contacted Optus to clarify what was going on and they told me they couldn’t help and to contact Star Track. And they don’t have any record of it.
I suspect the messages on Track My Order are automated and that my phone actually hasn’t left the warehouse yet but I am concerned all the same.
Has anyone else had this issue and how did it turn out?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Welcome to optus. . . but is probably going to end badly for you! lol.
The tracking info is updated when the parcel's barcode is scanned (warehouse, transport driver etc) so it'll be fine.
The comment about the sim has nothing to do with tracking info - that's just optus starting your billing period early to make a few extra bucks out of you. It's common.
