change preferred contact on a new phone order

I ordered a new phone due to getting my last prepaid one stolen and just asked for a sim replacement with the same mobile number. However, after completing my order I read that it would call my contact number to confirm ID and process it however I do not have access to that phone anymore and thus the number I put down.  I realize my mistake but is there any way to change the preferred contact on an order Optus has already received?
