I'm using the Optus 4G Wi-Fi Modem (Cat 9) AC800S for around two months. I want to know how can i unlock it for my travel oversea to Asia next month. I don't want to pay extra money to get a new device for wireless internet. I found some information about it, it should be orignally named Netgear aircard 800s, but the manufacturer Netgear doesn't provide the unlocking information. Can anybody give a clue?

Netgear won't. It's the policy of the Optus. How do you know it's locked? Some modems will work overseas, even though locked.
Put a Telstra/Aldi SIM into it and see what it does.
