Unable to get data sim activated

So i picked up and signed for my new data sim at the post office yesterday, and after getting home from work proceeded to go through the online activation steps, all good, recieved my account number etc, your service will be activated in the next 15 minutes to 4 hrs, then went into creating my account 24 hrs of turning my device on and off later still not working however was finally able to create my account by signing up to this crowd stuff first. Still unable to connect to network with the sim. Should it not have been automatically activated by this time?

To confirm have you placed the SIM in the device and restarted it to see if you can connect to the network?

 

What device are you using the SIM card in?
