Transfer of Ownership

andstu

Hello,

I've recently moved overseas and want to transfer the ownership of my plan to a friend in Australia. Is it possible for them to take over the plan and keep their existing number or do they need to use my sim card?

Thank you

Hi there,

No, the definition is to transfer the account in its entirety form one account holder to another. They don’t necessarily need you sim but the number will be transferred into there name and they then can get a replacement sim.

Cheers Dave

Hi @andstu - what @caaf has outlined above is correct. You can transfer your account and service to your friend, who can then organise a SIM replacement for the relevant service.

You can start the Change of Ownership process here.
