Sos

Hi I recently changed from Telstra to Optus for my mobile phone, but I keep getting sos only, please help

Wobble the SIM and make sure it's up the right way.

 

Has the phone number port actually gone through? Is the old SIM still working? It's not unknown for this process to stuff up.

Hi

It sounds that you could well be in a poor reception area for Optus mobile. Is it just happening in one place, perhaps your house, or is it happening everywhere you go?

You can check the general coverage from this link;

http://www2.optus.com.au/egmap_mob/

But it can often be coverage dead spots even where the Optus coverage link says there is reception.
