Call failure rate is currently approx 5-10% for Telstra bound calls

what is the solution as i cannot make calls or recive on fixed line phone i im with nbn green light on router is off i have reset router a number of times

Let’s see if we can get you up and running. I would suggest a couple of the below troubleshooting steps for you to try first.
1. Confirm the phone is plugged into the back of the Optus Modem, generally it should be in the socket labelled phone line 1, alternatively you can try phone line 2
2. If you have the ability to change the cord that connects your phone to your modem, I would suggest giving that a try
3. If you have the ability to test another handset ,I would recommend trying this also
