Sim Activation/Porting - Still nothing after 48hrs - "PPACT-SIMVAL-0006"

Hi!

 

I submitted an activation and porting request (from Telstra) on a new Sim card about 48 hrs ago - no money has come out of my account for the recharge, I can't send texts or make calls, and I haven't received a confirmation text yet. I've restarted many times since, plus I've tried to activate again as a safety measure and it says I've already sent through a request ("PPACT-SIMVAL-0006"). I can see the 'Optus 4G' in the top left corner of my screen, yet I can't search the internet with the mobile data. Please help!

Sorry to hear that. and for the delayed response. Just to confirm, has your Telstra sim been disconnected? Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, could you please DM me here: http://yesopt.us/pmdee your full name, mobile number, and DOB so I can look into this further for you?

I am also experiencing this and it's been 6 days since I put in the activation request

Sorry to hear this @Jimmygarr02. Any port should only take a maximum of 4 hours to go through once submitted. We'll definitely need to follow up with your provider if you have been waiting for 6 days already. 

 

Just to confirm, your number is still active with the old provider? There is likely a data mis-match stopping this from being completed.

Yes my number is still active with Telstra and I've talked to two people on the live chat so far and nothing has happened.

Hi I'm still waiting 8 hrs after speaking to someone about my sim. And still not active. Poor effort for Optus.
