A wonder of engineering but I do wonder what is the point of the phone? Screen area is the same as a normal phone so essentially its the novelty of being able to fold a phone in half to fit better in the hip pocket (which is indeed retro). I would expect though that the screen will be much better protected through the life of the phone.
For Optus I would suggest they really need to get their pre-order process into much better shape. Past delays have given Optus a reputation and their not off to a great start here. No pricing mentioned and the PREORDER link just takes you to a line to TALK TO CHAT TO PREORDER. I asked chat how much the phone was and they said they didn't have that information and to go to a store. I asked if I could preorder the phone and they again directed me to a store.
Samsung are providing the device direct (also pre-order) to the public for $2200 24 months interest free with up to $350 trade in on your old phone. Optus need to lift their game IMO.
