They have assured me that my order is in progress and with the warehouse awaiting dispatch.
Such a frustrating experience this has been.
I have 5G access at work, and I'll also use it in Sth Korea.
Of course, the phone itself is sweet too.
@AlistarS as per my screenshot, the initial email from Optus states Delivery from 20th September, not shipping from.
My order status is still the same as it was on 8/8 and that is "in progress".
So I've just been to my local store, they were as helpful as they could be. It felt like they have been briefed on what information they can and cannot give out, but were empathetic, like they wanted to be helpful and were sad that they couldn't be. I left my details with the girl and their resident expert will call me back later if they can glean any information that they can forward (I know, but it's something).
I did notice something when she was looking at my account, the order details table has a field called 'current step' or something, and it was populated with 'HandleShipmentResponse'. She quickly closed the page, but I think that could be a promising piece of information.
