@Lifestealer check your emails from Optus that should have been sent after you did the pre-order.

 

My first email from Optus, after I ordered, shows the delivery as being September 20, as well and the phone model, colour and plan I chose.

Yeah, I got no emails 

 

I ask the clerk to change it to the black version because I know that would be send on the 20th

 

They come up with some bull**** about processing and it will also be shipped on the 4th of October...

 

Shake my head :/

You did confirm last time I quoted Optus via twitter as well.

 

 

Speaking of which, Wes replied with an identical response.

I see Optus is trying to keep everyone on the same page, response wise, now 😂

@Lifestealer strange you got no email after ordering.

Did you order online via the web page, with the "live chat" or on the phone?

 

Optus has always emailed me confirmation when I've ordered a service/upgrade etc, even from adding a service in store.

 

Edit:

The black is still listed as shipping from the 20th September, not October 4th.

What if you cancel that order and then order the black?

I got no emails either, just an sms.  I ordered aura glow on the 22nd, late afternoon.  If there is a change in date, surely some sort of notification should go out, right? We shouldn't have to find out through heresay.

@projekt well, if your order was completed and logged on the 22nd, based on what @AlistarS has stated, you should be fine.

 

I guess to be 100% you'd need to speak with them, quoting your order number.

Did the SMS have any info about delivery etc?

I find it strange some people haven't had order confirmation emails sent to them though.

@Dolgogi it just has a link to the 'track my order' page which has almost no discernible information on it at all.  I've been checking it at least five times  a day in the dwindling hope that some more info might get posted to it.

 

I've ordered junk from China with better customer care Smiley Sad

IME Optus send two emails reasonably reliably. One is confirmation of the order and the other is it has left the warehouse. The stuff in between, not so much.

I have just been told by live chat that my phone is expected to be, dispatched from 4th of October.

 

I have received my confirmation email 8th of August at 3:05pm due to an issue with my account. I ordered at 9:03am or something.

 

I am now getting so stressed at this point.
