SOS

I have a new iPhone 12 which was working fine until now it says SOS and I can’t send texts.

Have you had a chance to check our Network Status page for any faults or outages that may be impacting the mobile services in the area?

If there are no faults or outages, I would recommend trying the steps listed out in our Can't make or receive calls on my Mobile Phone support page to confirm if this would restore your service. 

Should the issue persist, we recommend messaging us via the My Optus app.

Our Messaging team is available 24/7 and are ready to assist customers as quickly as possible.
